Mmmm, Hard Bean™ coffee...
Rest, relax, and enjoy our roaster fresh coffee, specialty
sandwiches, locally made treats and true European desserts.
Our unique cafe is "laid back" and comfortable.
Hard Bean™ uses only select Arabica beans grown on single estates whenever
possible.
Each variety of beans we use are specifically roasted to the darkness that most
enhances their flavor. Beans are immediately packaged in a special air-free
environment.
This packaging helps you enjoy a memorable cup of coffee every time you visit
our café.
We promise to provide you with the finest coffee and treats available
anywhere in the world right in your backyard.

The Hard Bean Cafe is locally owned. Have
you met our coffee girls? Becca (on right) is the owner. But she has
graciously allowed her parents to share in her enterprise. Cheryl (center)
is Becca's mom. and Annie (left) is Becca's sister. Becca lets Annie work
there sometimes when she is home from college. |

Hard Bean Cafe is part of a buying cooperative
headquartered in Reading, PA. All Hard Bean shops are independently owned
and operated, but all try to offer the same good beans and good fun you
experience at your local Hard Bean. If you are traveling and would like to
